Russian Avant-garde movement of the early 20th century became the bedrock of the entire creative field that we know now as design. All contemporary artists who call themselves designers, we are all in one way or another influenced by works of such giants of the Russian Futurism as Rodchenko, Lesytzky, Tatlin, and many others.
One Hundred Years of Futurism was a 2009 art project that celebrated a 100-year anniversary of the futurist movement.
This design started as a poster for the One Hundred Years of Futurism project and was later expanded into two-page layouts for a magazine article about Russian Avant-garde.
